Week at a Glance | September 18

Dear Families,

Our first full week of school was great! We started the week off with having Cello, the school’s assistance dog, and everyone loves him. Students keep asking when it will be Monday so they can see him again. We also kicked off the Terry Fox campaign, which you can read more about below. Finally, we want to thank all families for using the Kiss and Go as intended. Your cooperation is helping to make the surrounding area safe for everyone.

El Sistema Calgary Multicultural Orchestra Foundation will be offering free music lessons at Valley View School again this school year. El Sistema Calgary is a charity with the purpose to make music education accessible to children and youth from all the Calgary community. The organization's mission is to provide an opportunity to young people, to achieve through music the learning of values and principles which are positively reflected in their personal development, their families and in the community.
