Dear Families, 

Our students have been spending more time learning outdoors and taking walking field trips. The students who are at the Ridge come back full of excitement as they observe the changing landscape with wildflowers and lush green landscape. Please make sure your child has what they need to learn both indoors and outdoors. This includes wearing sunscreen, a hat, and proper footwear. 

Outdoor Learning Space Opening

We are delighted to be opening our Outdoor Learning Space soon. We are working with Ian Bazalgette School on a way to meaningfully engage our staff and students. We hope the space will be used in a way that serves our entire school community. 

Kiwanis Diversity Cup June 13^th and 14^th  

We’re thrilled to cheer on our Grade 5 and 6 students as they take the field next weekend for the Kiwanis Diversity Cup! Our players are so excited and ready to showcase their skills while having fun competing against other schools. Events like these are fantastic opportunities to build school spirit, foster teamwork, and create lasting memories. 

Valley View School Council Dance Update 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the June dance is being cancelled. Thank you for understanding. 

Student Transitions 

Transitions can be bittersweet for everyone. As we wrap up this school year and prepare for the next, we are dedicated to supporting our students through these changes. Many students experience mixed emotions during this time, and we remain committed to maintaining consistent routines and clear expectations to help provide stability. For our grade 6 students, transition meetings are underway with the new school admin teams for a successful entry.
