Dear Families,
Welcome to December! With just three short weeks to go before the break, there are many exciting activities planned at VVS. We’re looking forward to the upcoming Winter Festival of Lights and the school talent show! We will continue to learn and play outside in the snow, embracing the winter season with fun activities and team spirit. There will also be holiday-themed projects and lots of opportunities for students to learn about winter celebrations from around the world. It’s a busy, festive time, and we’re excited to make the most of it together!

Commūn-I-Tea
We held our first Commūn-I-Tea this past week and it was very successful. The Commūn-I-Tea was offered to engage with Indigenous students and families to provide the venue, time, and setting to build meaningful relationships that nurture connections. Creating a cohesive collective between school, home and the community enriches Indigenous learners’ school experiences. We appreciated meeting our Indigenous families and look forward to having more Commūn-I-Tea's this year.
