Dear Families,
It’s hard to believe this is the last parent message for 2024! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Festival of Lights Winter Celebration yesterday evening. We had a great turn out and were happy to see so many families at VVS. We hope you enjoyed the event!
There are so many festivals and celebrations from around the world during this time of year and we try to recognize and acknowledge the diversity in our school. Each morning students share a little bit about some of these festivals over the morning announcements, including, Winter Solstice, Saligirah Kushiali, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Yule, Christmas, and Makar Sankrati. With over 35 languages and cultural groups represented at VVS, we are grateful to learn from so many people. No matter how you celebrate, we wish everyone a restful and enjoyable holiday. May 2025 bring more joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Let’s continue to support and uplift one another through every step of the year ahead. Wishing you all health, happiness, and prosperity in the year to come.
