Dear Families,

Before heading into summer break, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for being part of such a wonderful school community. Valley View School will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am incredibly proud of the many successes and achievements of our students.

Throughout my time at VVS, I have been consistently inspired by the care, dedication, and commitment our staff show toward students and one another. We are truly a caring community, and I deeply appreciate the support I have received.

I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our parents for their ongoing support and partnership. From our school council and parent volunteers to those who go above and beyond to ensure student success, your collective contributions have made a lasting impact. I am truly grateful. Thank you for placing your trust in me.

There is so much to celebrate this year. We have celebrated the many talents and the rich diversity within our school, while creating meaningful opportunities to foster a strong sense of belonging through initiatives like Passion Fridays and the Diversity Cup. We also shared many joyful moments together during events such as Pi Day, Festival of Lights, and our Celebration of Learning.

In addition, we worked closely with Elders and the community to build our Outdoor Learning Space, participated in exciting field trips and adventures, and engaged in meaningful projects that enriched student learning.

It is always difficult to say goodbye to a place and a community that means so much. Rather than goodbye, I will simply say farewell, with deep appreciation and gratitude for the time we have shared.

I wish everyone a restful, safe, and enjoyable summer break.

Sincerely,

Ms. Dharamsi
